The RJHS Talent Show was held last Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the Performing Arts Center. Several acts performed and the winners were announced. The winners were-
1st Place: Macy Berry with Liz Griffin, Ruthie Jacimore, Hadrian Daniels, and Dylan Deavours;
2nd Place: Aidan Bucker;
3rd Place: Jaxon Shea.
RJHS 9th grade CSU had Arkansas Tech Football Coach, Justin Brown, as their speaker today!
RSD will dismiss two hours early on Thursday, May 17 for the Employee Recognition Ceremony. The last day of the school year is Tuesday, May 29, and the district will dismiss one hour early.

ACT Aspire testing week is here! Parents/Guardians please try not to check your child out during a testing session. The schedule is attached below and can also be found in the documents section of the website.
9th Grade Female Chorus competed at the State CPA Festival last Friday and earned a Superior Rating and a Sweepstakes Award. This is the highest possible rating a choir can earn. RJHS is so PROUD of these students! Congratulations!!!

RSD ACCEPTING G/T PROGRAM REFERRALS
Russellville School District is now accepting referrals for student placement in the Gifted and Talented (G/T) Program for the 2018-2019 school year. If you have a 2nd-11th-grade student you feel should be considered for placement in this program, you may pick up a referral form from any Russellville elementary school office or the GT/AP Office at Russellville High School. The completed form must be returned to your child's school by Friday, April 13, 2018. The RJHS Library is having a Book Art Contest!!! All RJHS students and faculty are welcome to participate.
Create something new from something old! Use your imagination (or Pinterest) and create something fun! Your work MUST feature a book or parts from a book. Use your own book or come ask Mrs. Baldwin about old ones in the bookstore.
You can combine other media (paint, pencils, ink, etc.) with your book.
You are encouraged to use reused or recycled materials or things you have on hand.
Entries can be turned in starting
April 9, 2018, and are due
on April 27, 2018.
