Thank you, Arvest Bank! Arvest Bank donated a Communication Board which allows students to communicate via picture symbols to express their wants, needs, and ideas. This board makes our playground more accessible and inclusive for all of our students. #OHEistheplacetobe

Mrs. Taylor's class had a surprise guest reader! Mrs. Ditto stopped by to read the ending of Charlotte's Web. While reading this book, students learned about story elements and how characters interact and how their interactions change the story. They also learned how using sensory rich details makes a story more interesting! The class loved reading the book as a school! 🕷️🐷 #OHEistheplacetobe

One School, One Book! For the past month, all classes have been reading a classic from 1952...Charlotte's Web. Every student received a copy to keep. Students participated in activities in their classrooms, school wide activities, and book discussions on the morning news. While Charlotte was spinning words in her web to save Wilbur, we thought of words to help and hung them in webs in the hall. Our 3rd and 4th graders took a trip to the Pope County fair after finishing the book! We had so much fun making this book memorable for our students! 🕷️🕸️🐖 #OHEistheplacetobe
